Start a Webinar Meeting

If you're running a meeting where you would like to be the only person speaking (Such as a Seminar, a financial briefing or a lecture) or perhaps you would just like some extra control, you may want to start a Webinar Meeting. This feature can only be turned on when scheduling a meeting.

If you're running a meeting where you would like to be the only person speaking (Such as a Seminar, a financial briefing or a lecture) or perhaps you would just like some extra control, you may want to start a Webinar Meeting. This feature can only be turned on when scheduling a meeting.

In a Webinar Meeting:
  • Only the Host and Presenters are seen in video conference.
  • Attendees enter the meeting muted. (The host can un-mute attendees if desired)
  • Entry/Exit chimes are off by default.
  • Attendee listing is hidden to other attendees.
  • All messages sent in Meeting Chat go only to the Host.
  • Attendees are automatically accepted into the meeting.
