Chief Executive Officer
Serving as Chief Executive Officer, technology and SaaS veteran David Obrand brings close to 20 years' experience in sales, technology, operations and management to Fuzebox. In this role, David drives the growth of Fuzebox, accelerating product development and expanding global sales and marketing operations.
Prior to joining FuzeBox, Obrand was Chief Customer Officer at Yammer, playing an instrumental role in the company’s fast-paced growth and eventual acquisition by Microsoft for $1.2 billion in 2012. Additionally, David served as Vice President of Vertical Sales at Salesforce.com. During his near 10-year tenure, he established record revenue growth, quickly scaling Salesforce’s global footprint. He has also held sales and business development positions at leading technology companies such as Promptu Corporation, Sagent Technology and Siebel Systems.
David holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from Claremont McKenna College. In his spare time, David is an avid scuba diver, angel investor, and philanthropist. He lives in Moraga, California with his wife and two amazing children.
Chief Technology Officer
Ritesh has had extensive experience within the fields of engineering, software and mobile development. Having worked with some of the largest business and banking solutions worldwide, such as Citibank and Oracle, Ritesh grew as a developer and engineer. Most recently, at Kivera Inc., Ritesh presided over the development of real-time traffic systems, navigation, mapping services, and social networking applications for mobile devices before being recruited by TalkPlus as Head of Engineering.
Ritesh earned his engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology located in Mumbai, India.
Chief Customer Officer
Chief Customer Officer Mary Pecka leads worldwide sales operations and customer engagement at FuzeBox. Mary brings over 20 years of enterprise technology sales and marketing expertise to this role.
Pecka most recently served as Vice President of Enterprise Sales at Yammer, where she helped to accelerate the adoption of Yammer across all industries both domestically and abroad. Prior to her tenure at Yammer, Mary held global sales and client services positions with Salesforce.com.
Throughout her career, Mary served in senior sales, marketing and field operations positions for Sybase, Itron, and Ultradata Corporation. She holds a BA from Whitworth University.
SVP of Engineering and Chief Security Officer
A leader in the Unified Communications field, Amritansh was most recently the Director of Engineering for Google Compute Engine, driving key components of the global Google Cloud Platform. Prior to this, Amritansh was Director of Engineering for Google Apps where he directed the development, strategy, and growth of the Google Apps Marketplace.
Before joining Google, Amritansh spent over a decade at Microsoft, where he rose from software development engineer to General Manager of the Lync Client and Mobile Unified Communications product groups. One of the original developers of Lync, Amritansh grew the Lync product offering into a $1.5B business for Microsoft, establishing it as an enterprise standard for unified communications.
Amritansh graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, BHU with a B.S. in Electronics and Communications Engineering, and from the State University of New York at Binghamton with a M.S. in Electrical Engineering.
VP & GM EMEA
Georg is Fuzebox’s VP and General Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), where he is responsible for establishing & growing our business in the region, reporting to the CEO.
Prior to Fuzebox, he was with Yammer as GM for EMEA, having originally joined as one of three that were “first on the ground” in Europe and subsequently growing the headcount to 85, establishing a permanent HQ in London prior to the acquisition by Microsoft.
Georg is a frequent public speaker supporting both UK Government and private sector advocacy to promote London’s Tech City. Prior to joining Yammer, Georg worked at Microsoft for 5 years, in Enterprise and Cloud sales roles.
Georg studied Political Science and Management Studies at St. John’s College, Cambridge, and lives in London with his wife Katie.
VP of Finance
Jonathan is FuzeBox’s VP of Finance, where he leads finance, accounting, and investor relations. Previously, Jonathan led the financial planning and analysis function at Yammer where he focused on internal analysis, competitor analysis, and fundraising throughout the company’s 3x growth. After Yammer was acquired by Microsoft for $1.2 billion, Jonathan was instrumental in the integration of the acquisition into Microsoft’s Office Division.
Prior to Yammer, Jonathan worked in PricewaterhouseCooper’s Transaction Service Group focusing on the financial reporting and valuation implications of complex transactions. Jonathan has also worked for a real estate investment firm and also owned and operated a wine bar.
He graduated from Indiana University with an MBA and a BS in Finance & Accounting. He also holds an inactive CPA license from the State of New York.
Vice President of Marketing
Brad brings 12+ years of experience leading online marketing and customer acquisition programs and teams. At Experian Consumer Direct, he spent 8 years creating and growing the online marketing and customer acquisition engine for FreeCreditReport.com and ProtectMyID.com. During his tenure, he built the programs and organization that drove over $200 Million in annual revenue and on average acquired 350,000 customer per month. Just prior to joining FuzeBox, he led Marketing and Business Development at Inflection, a Big Data information company. Here, he acquired 1.2 Million new customers in 2012 and grew online traffic to over 13 Million unique visitors a month.
Brad specializes in building strong, accountable, and dedicated cross functional teams that deliver large scale multi channel online and mobile marketing campaigns.

VP of Product and User Experience
Eran spent the last decade in key leadership roles at Microsoft, most recently as Director of Program Management for Skype. Tapped by Microsoft to drive the integration strategy for the $8.5 Billion acquisition, he later assumed responsibility for the Skype product portfolio and for innovating Skype's user experience, social graph and monetization strategy.
Before Skype, Eran was co-founder of the Lync Client group and served as Director of Program Management for Microsoft’s Unified Communications products. He is an inventor on over 50 patents in the areas of Unified Communications, large-scale distributed systems, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and voice over IP (VoIP).
Eran double-majored in Computer Science and Economics at the University of Rochester.
Chief Software Designer
For most of his 30-year career, Michael worked in film and video postproduction as an editor and design consultant in London, Los Angeles and New York. Some of his offline/online editing work includes Nova, Curb Your Enthusiasm, King of Queens, Chicago Hope, Judging Amy as well as the MTV Video, Music and Movie Awards. Michael was the first editor to post a U.S. prime-time episode in "High Definition", "Chicago Hope" for CBS in 1998. Michael's expertise in video software and hardware design led to consulting contracts with CBS, NBC, HBO, MTV, Harpo Studios, Sony, and the BBC.
Michael studied at the University of Southern California before obtaining his B.S. in Film and Television Production from San Diego State University.
Vice President of Engineering
A 24 year telecom and networking veteran, Michael's career history includes specializing in voice over packet technology as an engineer at Nortel Networks, being a part of the seed group of five people who established the Voice over IP engineering program at Cisco Systems, and leading engineering for VoIP branch router development at Juniper Networks. Knappe is also the co-inventor listed on 35 U.S. patents in the areas of packet voice, audio signal processing and audio/video conferencing.
Michael Knappe also served as a co-founder and chairman of the VoIP Forum Industry Consortium, which became a key momentum builder for VoIP during its infancy. At its peak in 1997, over 60 companies participated, including Microsoft, Intel, Lucent, and Cisco. Knappe¹s work in the Forum, as well as key products he helped develop as a leading engineering manager at Cisco, made VoIP a mainstream technology by the late 1990s.
Michael has a Masters of Electrical Engineering from Carleton University in Ottawa and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick.
